Terror at Skellington Manor is one of the best haunted houses in the Quad Cities area. There are 4 different levels and each room is filled with different scares. The mansion itself is over 100 years old, and the website states it has documented paranormal activity. Admission is $15 but for $5 more, on busy nights, you can grab a fast-pass and not wait as long in the line. All ages are welcome, but some parts may not be appropriate for younger children.

Zombie Quest & Nighttime Corn Maze (Country Corners)

Country Corners hosts two popular fall activities, Zombie Quest and a nighttime corn maze. Zombie Quest takes you along for the ride of a lifetime! You will ride ½ mile along a zombie infested trail and shoot them with mounted paintball guns. Nighttime admission is $15.00 and admission for daytime is $7.00. Along with Zombie Quest, Country Corner has a nighttime corn maze that is 8 acres. You can go as an individual or group, and are given flashlights to find your way out. The challenge is to get out before your battery dies! Admission is $6.00 and this is a "no scare fun" activity.

 This place offers a variety of picnic settings to cookout with your family that you can reserve on the website. This is a great place to relax with the family for a weekend, or to get away and have a good time with some friends as well. City Limits is considered a Saloon & Grill, and is located in Rock Island. It recently had a new addition added onto the back of the restaurant with a place to sit outside. Also, it just changed ownership but still has the same food available! The menu includes hamburgers, tenderloins, and they also have breakfast available in the morning. It is a great place to get together with friends or just to have a relaxing meal with your family.

Quad Cities Segway

Location: 102 S Harrison Street, Davenport, IA

When: Spring-Fall, Call for Hours

Located along the Mississippi River, this is the only guided segway tour in Iowa! Your tour route starts at the visitor center and follows the bike trail East of Bettendorf. You will then turn West and go to Credit Island Park, then head back to the visitor center. Historical landmarks and other points of interest are pointed out along your tour. 1 hour tours start at $30 a person and 2 hour tours start at $55 a person. You do not need a reservation, but they are highly recommended. You also must arrive 20 minutes early for training. A rider need to be at least 14 years old, with a parent's/guardian’s signature, and over 100 pounds. You are also able to book corporate, private, or sunset tours!

“Rollin’ in the Oldies” Classic Car Cruise In

This is a hands on family museum aimed towards kids of the age 8 and under. It is made to encourage families to come together, have a good time, and to learn all at the same time. Pride of the Waspsi is a family farm where all ages can enjoy themselves! In September, you are able to pick your own raspberries from their fields. Orion Fall Festival

The 43rd annual Orion Fall Festival starts this Friday, September 4th, and goes until Sunday, September 6th. It is a family friendly event that has activities for all ages, and the admission is free! Starting the festival off, on Friday, is the annual pie auction at 5:30 p.m. Saturday morning events include a 10 mile run and the Tommy & Lindsey Nicholson 5K run, both starting at 7:30 a.m. For the children, there is a candy hunt and tractor pull, along with clowns Professor Dum-Dum and Toto at 10:00 a.m. In the afternoon, there is a parade at 1:00 p.m. and pageants starting at 3:00 p.m. Sunday morning, the Orion’s Lions Club is hosting the annual pancake, sausage, biscuit and gravy breakfast at 7:00 a.m. In the evening, ComedySportz, featuring “Guys with Ties”, will be performing at 5:30 p.m.
